The sudden, catastrophic loss of income is something more and more families are experiencing as we face the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impact on our already disadvantaged can be far-reaching.
This year, those most vulnerable are now struggling more than ever. COVID-19 is placing even greater pressure on the 1,600 people who are already homeless tonight. And that’s just on the Sunshine Coast. In a world currently filled with fear, anxiety and uncertainty, you can give those struggling locals, hope for the future.
We are currently seeking donations to assist us purchase personal items including warm blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, jackets, pants, underwear, socks, canned soup and toiletries, that we will be hand delivering to the homeless and vulnerable locals on the Sunshine Coast this winter.
